Omniture First to Launch Three New Groundbreaking Technologies in SiteCatalyst™ 9.0

These exclusive features include Visitor Identification, Segmentation and Transformation Architecture, True Fall-out Reporting and A/B Comparison Framework

  • VISTA™ (Visitor Identification, Segmentation and Transformation Architecture). VISTA is the only technology available on the market allowing for the creation of real-time segmentation of all online data. With VISTA, customers can define rules that can be used to partition data into segments and view all SiteCatalyst reports for that segment. For example, a segment can be designed to display data only about visitors who made a purchase. Another segment can be created displaying data from visitors who viewed a flash demonstration before completing registration.   • True Fall-out Reporting. Expanding fall-out reporting beyond traditional sequential pathing, this feature provides conversion and fall-out reporting between user-defined checkpoints, irrespective of the users' navigation between those points. By understanding the flow of traffic through these checkpoints, Omniture's customers can now have a greater understanding of how their users get from one point to another without confining the definition of success to the limits of a predefined process.
  • A/B Comparison Framework. SiteCatalyst is the only analytic solution to help customers collect and manage data associated with an A/B testing process. This method of testing simplifies design changes by comparing site performance across different segments, versions of websites or time frames. By displaying data side-by-side and calculating the percent change, the time required to gauge the effectiveness of incremental design changes is greatly reduced.
  • Also introduced in this version is Optimum Path™ ClickMap. This innovative report superimposes click-stream and page view data on the actual pages of a site allowing for easy analysis of how customers are responding to content, placement and design. The visualization of site data in this manner opens up valuable information to customers who find traditional analytic reports intimidating.
