This document outlines network-wide scalability issues with regards to the SuperStats website tracking system, and the MyComputer.com service network as a whole.

Hosting and Bandwidth
In order to deliver the fastest, most reliable services, MyComputer.com uses Frontier Global Center (FGC) to host web site and database servers for the entire MyComputer.com Network. Frontier Global Center's expertise with the highest trafficked Internet sites in the world (like Yahoo! and Netscape) is unmatched.

Web Load Balancing
In order to distribute traffic evenly across the system's web servers, we use a high-end primary load balancer which can easily balance chores between thousands of web servers at one time. An additional fail-safe load balancer is also in place.

Database Load Balancing
The MyComputer.com service network architecture can manage millions of members simultaneously through our proprietary database load balancing technology. The system intelligently distributes users and data across available servers in each cluster, and can handle virtually any number of users with a constant, high level of performance.

Growth
MyComputer.com services can accommodate large increases in traffic and membership simply by adding servers as needed to the various clusters (see diagram below). In addition, FGC's extensive resources allow for any level of growth in server rack space and bandwidth rquirements.
