MyComputer.com Adds Powerful Site-Path Analysis Functionality to SuperStats

New reports provide in-depth detail of Web site visitor patterns

OREM, Utah (April 27, 2000) - Adding to its already extensive list of site-traffic and marketing reports, MyComputer.com, the leading application service provider dedicated to the development of integrated Web site management tools powering e-businesses, today announced it is adding a powerful series of new site-path reports to its SuperStats Web site tracking and reporting service.

SuperStats is the Web's first real-time tracking and reporting service providing subscribers with hundreds of instant statistical reports on Web site traffic through a remotely hosted solution. With this information, e-businesses can monitor site traffic, profile visitors and measure marketing effectiveness.

The SuperStats site-path analysis reports allow e-businesses to examine the viewing habits of visitors to their Web sites. Two unique reports exclusive to SuperStats, Previous and Next Page, can statistically predict where visitors will go next once inside a site. Other reports show the paths taken through a site, entry and exit pages, page reloads, page and visit depth, single access pages, time spent on site as well as time spent on any given page.

"Our comprehensive site-path analysis reports empower executives, marketing and sales managers, IS/IT and Internet and security professionals with crucial visitor profile information needed to make informed decisions to improve their e-business initiatives," said Josh James, CEO at MyComputer.com. "By optimizing site content and enhancing site messaging, businesses can improve their Web site visitors' experiences, which in turn will increase the number of new and repeat visitors, and provide better value to advertisers by highlighting what works best on a given site."

The following SuperStats site-path analysis reports are now available:

  • Site path report allows users to see exactly how each visitor engages their site from start to finish.
  • Entry page report allows users to identify which Web pages are the most frequent points of entry, while the exit page report shows which pages visitors are exiting the site.
  • Previous and next page reports statistically predict the route a visitor takes once inside a site.
  • Page depth report tells a user which Web pages compel visitors to travel the deepest into a site.
  • Visit depth report identifies how deep visitors are willing to travel into a site. With this information, users can hone a site's messaging to ensure visitors are seeing it before they exit the site.
  • Time spent on page report displays the amount of time visitors have spent on each individual Web page, while the time spent on site report identifies the amount of time visitors have spend on the entire site.
  • The return frequency report indicates the number of return visitors to a site as well as the frequency of their return visits.
  • Single access pages report shows pages of a Web site that visitors simply enter and then exit a site without viewing any other pages.
  • Page reload report provides information that allows users to identify pages that may be too large, pages that have images that need to be optimized, or problem areas that visitors may find when loading Web pages.

The new reports are available through SuperStats Banner and SuperStats Professional. SuperStats Banner is a free ad-based version that requires users to place a MyComputer.com advertising banner on their Web site, while Professional is ad-free and starts at $19.95 per month. Lite users will have to upgrade to the Banner or Professional service to have access to these new reports.
