"Web Analytics Without SuperStats' Bookmarks Is Like Browsers Without 'Favorites'"
Orem, UT (November 29, 2001) - MyComputer.com today announced that users of SuperStats Enterprise 7.0 can leverage new Bookmarks and Scheduled Reports features to streamline and automate access to frequently viewed Web traffic reports.
SuperStats is the most widely used ASP hosted solution for monitoring and analyzing Web site traffic and return on investment. Version 7.0 was released earlier this month.
The new Bookmark and Scheduling features dramatically reduce the time required to access reports, which in turn affects the customer's bottom line. To demonstrate the potential cost savings, several of SuperStats' largest customers were analyzed. According to MyComputer.com's internal review of these customer sites, the Bookmarks feature has the potential to save these high-end customers more than $130,000 per year. Additionally, the Scheduled Reports feature has the potential to save these customers even more - an estimated $150,000 per year.
"SuperStats not only eliminates the need for businesses to analyze individual log files, rely on IT departments or depend on static software, but it also improves the bottom line for business analysts by optimizing how they obtain data and reports," said Josh James, chief executive of MyComputer.com. "In the end, employing Web analytics without bookmarks is like using browsers without 'favorites.'"
Bookmarks streamline report retrieval by organizing favorite or popular reports in personal folders, similar to the Internet Explorer browser's "favorites" feature or the Netscape Navigator browser's "bookmarks" feature . Users then save time when they view bookmarked reports later because all custom settings, such as time period, search terms and selected page are saved for subsequent viewing.
Similarly, Scheduled Reports enable users to view reports, where and when they want online or offline, at work or at home. Rather than needing to log in, choose search criteria and retrieve data for frequently accessed reports, users can automate the delivery of their reports by receiving them via e-mail in their preferred format (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat or comma-delimited) and in their preferred timeframe (daily, weekly or monthly).
"Report Bookmarks and Scheduled Reports automate analysis, eliminate human error and provide additional convenience," James said. "Reports can now be 'pushed' to the user. The user doesn't need to remember to generate a report every week or every month because it can be sent to their e-mail inbox automatically."
Bigstep, a one-stop source for building and managing successful Web sites, is one of MyComputer.com's customers now using the new Bookmarks and Scheduled Reports functionality.
"SuperStats Enterprise 7.0 gives Bigstep the tools we need not only to measure the success of our e-business accurately and further improve our overall return on investment, but also to gather data and Web reports in a simple and flexible manner," said Andrew Beebe, chairman at Bigstep. "The time and money we save using the new Bookmarks and Scheduled Reports features is critical to efficiently analyzing our Web traffic and audience."
The new Report Bookmarks and Scheduled Reports features are available today in SuperStats Enterprise 7.0. Monthly and volume pricing options are available on a subscription basis.
