NETWORK SOLUTIONS MAKES STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN MYCOMPUTER.COM Companies to co-develop the dot com dashboard, an integrated solution for managing a domain name user's total Internet presence Herndon, Va, February 29, 2000 - Network Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSOL), the world's leading registrar of Internet domain names, announced today a significant investment in MyComputer.com, the leading ASP (Application Service Provider) dedicated to the development and management of Webmaster tools. Along with the strategic investment, the two companies will develop the dot com dashboard(TM), a co-branded, integrated solution to enable Network Solutions' customers to manage their Internet domain names. Additionally, both companies will market and promote each other's services to existing and potential customers. MyComputer.com currently serves more than 650,000 customers, from first-time Web site builders, to businesses seeking a professional suite of tools to manage their sites. The dot com dashboard will offer leading applications from MyComputer.com, including SuperStats.com for traffic and visitor analysis, WatchDog.com for 24-hour site performance monitoring, BoardServer.com for customized online message boards, SiteMiner.com search capabilities, ad serving technology and other tools for real-time site analysis, promotion and monitoring.
